What did I learn from the Italians?

In every experience and every station of life I go through, I try to learn something new from it and gain experience so that I have lights that illuminate and remove the darkness in the journey of life.

I previously wrote about the lessons I learned in a difficult period I went through and how they affected my behavior and my thinking a lot..

Today I will write about what I learned from the Italian people .. Although I visited Italy previously for tourism, the view of the tourist is different from the resident .. and the passer-by sees only the crusts

God decreed for me to live in Rome for a few months, but I took lessons there that I had not learned in more than three decades of my life. I thank God Almighty as I have been blessed with this experience.

The Italians are a cheerful and loving people who respect the elders and have mercy on the youngers (innately, without sermons, and reminders of reward and punishment). You see grandparents accompanying their grandchildren to and from schools, parks and markets, and you see the grandchildren enjoying this company and respecting them.. and you see sons and daughters with their parents everywhere; In a walking tour, in hospitals, and even in travels without getting bored and tireless.

The Italian people do not know a specific age for love and elegance.. I was attracted by their stylishness, elegance and their care for their beauty and appearance, even the elderly among them, you hardly see an Italian (rich and poor) with untidy clothes.

What struck me the most about the Italians is the reverence for human relations with amazing social personality, you rarely find someone occupied with a mobile device. They prefer meetings and gatherings (inside or outside homes), so it is difficult for an intruder in their community to obtain information about places (even tourist ones) on the Internet despite the great qualities they possess and the beautiful nature mixed with their light souls and delicious dishes. As much as the difficulty of obtaining information and knowing places bothers me, the more I envy them about their social life.

Italian people do not walk at a fast pace, mostly are not in a hurry to get a meal in a restaurant or to pay for an item they bought in the market. they do not have a violent reaction to someone trying to pass a queue. They take things simply, life goes on, no hurry!! you can hardly find his drive-thru service.

Italians value their vacation times. Despite their activity at work (everyone works, whether in cooking, selling or otherwise), rest days are sacred and are spent in meetings with family and friends and holding banquets at home. There is no work on a day that is supposed to be vacation

They are explorer and love to travel and move (mostly in their country). You will find the majority traveling and exploring at the weekend and on extended vacations and the end of the year vacation with all budgets. There are those who rent a van to live in, and there are those who live in the finest and most luxurious hotels. The important thing is that no one sits at home in front of the TV or mobile to spend his vacation under the pretext of relaxation.

When disagreeing with an Italians on any issue, big or small, they do not take the issue personally. They are people who value and sanctify social relations and are keen on maintaining the relationship and not losing it due to a situation or misunderstanding. I was talking about this point with one of my friends before I watched the movie (Gucci) and when I watched it, I was caught by a shot in the movie, when the pain from betrayal from a family member is more severe than a pain of losing an empire and prestige.

Finally, what has attracted me a lot is the mastery of their work in their buildings and streets to the extent that they have lasted for decades or even centuries, and the great-grandchildren still live in the homes of their grandparents that are hundreds of years old!!
